Young Ealing Foundation (YEF)
The YEF was created to help developing charities just like ours. With the help of Elly and her team at YEF, we have worked on strengthening our governance structures, not least by recruiting new trustees with experience in business strategy and funding applications. YEF are a unique focus for young peoples’ charities in Ealing, bringing us all together and allowing networking and the exchange of ideas and good practice, so that we can all be more effective in our charitable aims. YEF are always there with good experience-based advice from budgets to safety practices – there’s a lot to learn and do when you setup a new charity! https://www.youngealingfoundation.org.uk/ |
London Youth (LY)
One of the many things LY does to support young people in London is to guide young peoples’ charities. We have been working with Marco at LY to gain our Bronze Quality Mark. This is an extremely thorough process where by all our administrative, safety and governance systems, practices and protocols are scrutinised and tested. We are very thankful for this service which allows our charity to grow on firm, reliable and effective practices. LY are always there to lend an ear, to give advice based on good practice and years of real world experience. https://londonyouth.org/ |
Ealing and Hounslow CVS (Community Voluntary Sector)
Ealing CVS was the first organisation that supported us when we setup our CIO, especially with drafting our constitution and applying to The Charity Commission for charitable status. Their face to face advice, and skills and training courses have proved invaluable. https://www.london.gov.uk/what-we-do/volunteering/search/ealing-community-and-voluntary-service-ealing-cvs https://ehcvs.org.uk/ |
Ealing Council and EGfL
The council funded and helped develop several of our prosocial behaviour projects for schools in Ealing. They continue to be a great source of advice and data, helping us to focus our charitable work where it is needed most. In 2020, they provided a grant to pilot and update our primary school Bullying Awareness Project. EGfL has been brilliant at putting out the word to the schools in Ealing. https://www.ealing.gov.uk/site/ www.egfl.org.uk/news/2022/09/free-bullying-awareness-workshops-year-4-pupils-ealing-primary-schools |
John Lyons Charity (JLC)
JLC have shown real faith in our work, providing funding, and significant advice about why and how we should improve the governance of our charity. They are very hands on – meeting with us and actually coming to see our work live! http://jlc.london/ |
Ealing Schools
Monster Cat Theatre has worked for nearly twenty years providing drama workshops to primary and high schools in Ealing. We are ‘in school’ each day of term time, and have firm working relationships with many head teachers, teachers and schools. |
Arts Council England
Arts Council England have continued to fund the project which has allowed us to expand our reach. www.artscouncil.org.uk/ |
